This shirt? Easy. Bleach the shirt, soak it in laser dye, and leave it to dry stiff. Use one of your lab’s other lasers to pump the dye so it’s energized and glowing and ready to amplify light. The regular pattern of fibers in the weave of the shirt fabric will reflect the glow from the laser dye back on itself, creating a weak laser cavity that will nevertheless be able to produce new laser light. See? Laser.
