Why yes, lasers DO come in rainbow!

Although most lasers are monochrome, if you send intense laser pulses into an optical fiber, weird nonlinear optical effects generate more colors and you can even end up with fully rainbow light! This kind of laser is called a supercontinuum laser, and people can use it as white light or separate out whatever color they need. It's useful for biologists who want to label different tissues with different fluorescent dyes and then use the different colors from the supercontinuum to excite each dye when they want.
